FOX Sports Grill announced plans to expand its upscale sports
bar and restaurant concept to Seattle, Washington, and Atlanta, Georgia. The
Seattle location is slated to open in the fall of 2003, while the Atlanta
location will open in 2004.
³We are extremely pleased that the early success of FOX
Sports Grill has allowed us to expand into new markets,² said Bill Freeman,
president and CEO of FOX Sports Grill.
³Our national rollout will continue our goal of elevating the traditional
sports bar experience to a new level.²
FOX Sports Grill offers a wide
range of contemporary American cuisine in an upscale, yet casual, atmosphere
with a state-of-the-art sports bar, a cigar lounge, and a wine room for special
events. Other features include a
wood-fired grill, billiards room and areas for live FOX Sports broadcasts.
The 15,000 square foot Seattle location is in the heart of
downtown at 1522 N. 6th Avenue in between Pine Street and Pike
Street. The Atlanta location is
part of the ATLANTIC STATION® mixed-use development which is a
138-acre environmental redevelopment of the former Atlantic Steel Mill at the
nexus of interstates 75 and 85 in Midtown Atlanta.
FOX Sports Grill, founded by FOX
Sports and B & B Restaurant Ventures in 2002, owns and operates additional units
in Scottsdale, Arizona and Irvine, California. The FOX Sports Grill concept is
different from the FOX Sports Skybox at the Staples Center and airports.
