May 30 – June 1: AVP Atlanta Open - Fun, Sun and Sand in Atlantic Station
The best professional beach volleyball players will return to Atlanta May 29 – June 1 for the AVP Atlanta Open, the eighth event of the 2008 Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) Crocs Tour. The AVP Crocs Tour is comprised of the best men’s and women’s professional beach volleyball players in the U.S. and the world. Featuring more than 150 of the sport’s top competitors, the Tour includes world-class athletes such as 2004 Olympic gold medalists Kerri Walsh and Misty May-Treanor as well as other Olympic medalists and professional stars like Holly McPeak, who won the sport’s first gold medal in Atlanta. June 7-8, 21-22 & 28-29: The Atlantic Station Art & Antique Market
The Atlantic Station Market is an “Open-Air” market showcasing local artisans, antiques, handcrafted items and unique vendors. The outdoor festival-style market hosts up to 100 merchants offering unique items, edibles and more. Market hours are 2pm-9pm on Saturday, and 12pm-7pm on Sunday. There is no admission, so come browse and enjoy this unique and unusual environment! From the organizers of the popular weekend Atlantic Station Art & Antique Market, the Friday Night Art Market will showcase local artists and their works. June 14, Central Park, 11:00am-3:00pm: Open Casting Call for owners of misbehaved dogs
Ricochet Television, producers of international parenting phenomenon SUPERNANNY and U.S. cable hits The Real Housewives of NYC (BRAVO) and The Alaska Experiment (Discovery) are searching for owners of misbehaved dogs in the Atlanta area for a brand new series from the United Kingdom. The casting team will partner with PAWS Atlanta and Sittercity.com to host an open casting call. Meet the producers and get more information to be on the new show! Bringing your dog is not necessary.

H&M Opening Weekend

Welcome H&M!
An all-day celebration welcoming H&M to the neighborhood:

	The excitement of H&M’s grand opening continues with an all-day celebration in Central Park on Saturday, June 14. A host of retailers will be set up in the park offering information, discounts and more!
	And from 6-8pm, don’t miss a special concert by Francisco Vidal himself. Francisco is an acoustic performer known throughout Atlanta and will perform various cover songs from the 80’s, 90’s and today.		The fun doesn’t stop there! Atlantic Station is pleased to announce a new weekly program - the Station Stroll - for in-town moms, dads, and caregivers. Every Wednesday, moms and their children in strollers are invited to meet at Central Park for a one-mile walk through Atlantic Station. Socializing begins at 9:30am and the stroll begins at 10:00am. Most retailers open at 10:00am on weekdays so shopping and dining are a great option after (or during!) the stroll. Join us for a morning out and a fun opportunity to meet other in-town moms and their babies! Reserved, mom-friendly parking is available directly below Central Park. Mommy + Me is weather permitting.
