ATLANTIC STATION® WELCOMES
UPSCALE FASHION RETAILER KNITCH
ATLANTAJuly 18, 2006Atlantic Station, L.L.C. announced today that Knitch, an exclusive fashion boutique specializing in unique high-end men’s and women’s clothing, luxurious accessories and fine home products, will open its first location this September in the community’s retail and entertainment district.
Created by Ryan Glover, creator of the RyanKenny Clothing line, and Tamara Knechtel, a longtime Las Vegas-based retailer and fashionista, Knitch is a luxury lover’s paradise. The store will carry such trend-setting men’s and women’s clothing brands as Y3, Catherine Malendrino, Dolce & Gabbana, Yohji Yamamoto, Marc Jacobs, LA Denim, Chip & Pepper, Earnest Sewn, Carpe Denim, Missoni, Donna Karan, and Chloe, among many others. The store will also carry signature RyanKenny pieces which will be available only at Knitch.
“Since Tamara and I both come from the music industry, our foray into fashion was a natural one. Atlanta is such a trendsetter for music, and it is becoming a leader in the fashion scene as well,” said Ryan Glover, co-owner of Knitch. “We hope to provide the shoppers and residents of Atlantic Station with their fashion fix, particularly those individuals who are longing for the world’s most sought-after brands. We want our guests to be able to understand the lifestyle that we are painting for them - a relaxing, comfortable atmosphere that caters to men and women equally.”
Knitch will occupy 2,344 square feet, and will be located in a prominent, high-visibility location across the street from Pier 1 Imports, near the intersection of 19th Street and Market Street, and adjacent to Fox Sports Grill.
