Atlanta- November 1, 2007: On November 6th, Atlantic Station debuts a storefront unlike any other in the country. It’s not the free coffee or cold drinks that make the commuter cafe unique, rather it’s the transportation services and information offered to the employees, residents, and even visitors of Atlantic Station. Dedicated to serving commuters and travelers to and from Atlantic Station, the café provides:
- Internet access for commuters to take advantage of online regional incentives offered to any alternative transportation user
- Personal assistance with commute planning and any transportation related questions
- Access to computerized carpool-partner matching
This inviting cafe provides a discovery-zone for commuters to learn how to take advantage of the money, stress, and environmental savings that transportation alternatives provide. All of this with a free cup of coffee. The café represents the collaborative efforts of public and private partners to create essential services for today’s commuter.
The grand opening will consist of an open-house from Noon until 7:00pm and prize drawings throughout the day as well as a main event at 2:00 pm. The main event will consist of:
