ATLANTIC STATION FLEXES ITS MUSCLE WITH ADDITION OF FITNESS CLUB
LA Fitness Joins Midtown Community for Residents and Workers

ATLANTA – May 9, 2006 — Atlantic Station, LLC announced today that LA Fitness, the national sport and fitness club based in Southern California, will open its newest location in the heart of the community’s retail and entertainment district this fall. Already an active community where “Life Happens Here”, LA Fitness will serve as the place for those who live, work and play in Atlantic Station to get in shape and stay healthy. Memberships will be available to the general public.

LA Fitness will be located on 19th Street, immediately adjacent to Regal Cinemas box office and next door to Old Navy. LA Fitness is a membership sports club with approximately 1,000 to 1,500 people visiting the facility each day. It also offers corporate wellness plans for surrounding businesses.

Keeping its facilities on the cutting edge with updated equipment and gyms, LA Fitness also focuses on offering fitness programs such as indoor cycling, kickboxing, aqua aerobics, yoga, and mat pilates, as well as basketball and racquetball leagues and tournaments.

“Things are really getting going in Atlantic Station and with all of the great places to shop and eat, now’s the time to start thinking about getting in shape and we couldn’t be happier to add LA Fitness to the neighborhood,” said John Whitaker, CEO of Atlantic Station and managing director of AIG Global Real Estate.

In addition to Georgia, LA Fitness owns and operates 135 sports clubs in California, Arizona, Florida,  Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Texas and Washington.
