Tampa AAA brings its NASCAR Mobile Marketing display to Atlantic Station in Atlanta on March 9 from Noon-7 p.m., March 10 from Noon-7 p.m., March 11 from 11 am. 7 p.m. and March 12 from Noon-7 p.m., giving consumers and NASCAR fans an “up close” look at the AAA #6 Ford Fusion and a chance to compete against the NEXTEL Cup stars of today in a virtual racing experience on authentic NASCAR race tracks.
The Mobile Display serves as a grass-roots extension of AAA’s Roush Racing, International Speedway Corporation (ISC) and Indianapolis Motor Speedway sponsorship involvement. AAA serves as the primary sponsor of Mark Martin’s #6 Ford Fusion, and serves as the “Official Auto Club” of 11 ISC race tracks.
“For racing fans, the event is a great opportunity to enjoy the look and feel of NASCAR,” says Heath Hardin, Sports Marketing Manager for AAA Auto Club South. “Attendees will have the chance to have their picture taken with the official #6 car, experience pulse pounding racing action and learn more about AAA services and membership benefits.”
The No. 6 show car is an exact replica of the car that Mark Martin drives in NEXTEL Cup races. Also, the simulators provide the chance to compete against the best NASCAR has to offer.
“Not every NASCAR fan gets a chance to attend a race,” says Chris Delmarsh, District Sales Manager for AAA Auto Club South . “This is a way to bring NASCAR to this group.”
“The simulator is great fun and really gives a feel of what’s it like to drive a race car. And with the right modifications, the No. 6 showcar could be racing this weekend,” he said.
